Algunos *bios soluciones de redada no dejan medidas de paseo mixto.
Algunos de ellos espejo el paseo entero y es inconsciente lo que el OS es de hecho instalado.
Otros son redada de falsificación y requerir conductores.  Pero la mayoría de les requiere paseos emparejados.
Redada de software  no.

Control mejor lo que vuestro *bios deja.

Some bios raid solutions don't allow mixed drive sizes.
Some of them mirror the whole drive and are unaware what OS is actually installed.
Others are fake raid and require drivers.  But most of them require matched drives.
Software raid does not.

Better check what your bios allows.
