No.

*KMail2 (entrando 12.1) *imap la implementación apoya el IMAP *IDLE orden, 
el cual *AFAIU hace exactamente esto en el fondo.

No.

KMail2 (coming in 12.1)'s imap implementation supports the IMAP IDLE command, 
which AFAIU does exactly this in the background.
